ORLANDO, Fla. – (Nov. 12, 2021) The Specialty Tools and Fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA) hosted its 2021 Annual Convention and Trade Show at the Orange County Convention Center from Oct. 24-26, 2021. Relocated from another destination, STAFDA welcomed nearly 2,400 industry leaders generating an estimated economic impact of $6.1 million for the Orange County community.
STAFDA represents the best companies and leaders in the construction/industrial supply chain. Its members create an excellent opportunity for industry professionals to network, interact with large and small customers, build relationships and advance the industry.
“On behalf of the OCCC, we are delighted to have STAFDA’s vast network of construction and industrial professionals at the Center of Hospitality,” said OCCC Executive Director Mark Tester. “As we continue to do Business Better than Usual, we want to create a space that nurtures the growth and success of events like STAFDA to benefit their attendees and exhibitors during their productive trade show in Orlando.”
In order to ensure the safety of its guests, exhibitors and staff, all necessary precautions were taken to provide attendees with the cleanest and safest environment to conduct business. Health and safety protocols included touchless self-check-in, mask recommendations, a convenient event app with onsite program and agenda, attendee lists, and booth information, as well as stringent cleaning policies at the Center and event hotel partners.
“The OCCC and Orlando knocked it out of the park for STAFDA,” said STAFDA CEO Georgia Foley. “We had nothing but positive feedback not only on our convention, but also on the attractiveness of the facility and helpful building staff. Our OCCC Event Manager was extremely attentive and made sure everything ran according to plan. Overall, it was a very upbeat experience for all who attended STAFDA’s 45th Annual Convention & Trade Show. Everyone left happy – which was our goal.”
This year’s convention and trade show successfully offered attendees the opportunity to engage in educational sessions, listen to keynote speakers, meet with vendors and exhibitors and see with new market products.
